Real life is the game that — literally — everyone is playing. But it can be though the thing about life is you only live it once and that’s just it! Everyone wants to be another person, or live another person’s life, go on adventures and make their lives as interesting as possible because you’ll never know when it ends, but not for the Gamers.

You see, gamers they don’t die they respawn, as they all say it. For them failure doesn’t mean the game is over, it simply means to try again with experience. Being a gamer isn’t about playing every single game created, being a gamer means you play from “Heart”.

Muggles (other people) judge them saying they don’t have a life, well that’s true. Gamers don’t have a life because they have lives, a lot of them actually — sometimes they’re even unlimited.

So without further ado, here are some of the the most popular online games that are known worldwide.

  • DOTA 2

Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle areane (MOBA) game in three-dimensional environemnt, presented from an oblique high-angle perspective. The player commands one of 110 controllable character called “Heroes”. Each Hero begins the match at level one and becomes more powerful by accumulating experience points through combat, thereby leveling up to the maximum level of twenty-five. With every level gained the player either selects a new ability for their Hero to learn or enhance their general statistics. Each Hero’s method of combat is influenced by its primary property: Strength, Agility, or Intelligence.

Dota 2 promises to take the unique blend of online RTS and RPG action that has made Dota popular with tens of millions of gamers and expand upon it in every way. This is a competitive MOBA game of action and strategy, played both professionally and casually by millions of passionate fans worldwide. Players pick from a pool of over a hundred heroes, forming two teams of five characters. Radiant heroes then battle their Dire counterparts to control a fantasy landscape, waging campaigns of cunning, stealth, and outright warfare.

  • League of Legends

League of Legends is a 3D, third-person multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. In League of Legends, human or AI-controlled players each control a character, called a champion, and form two opposing teams. In the most popular “classic” mode, each team begins with a central building, called a nexus, protected by defensive structures. The object of each game is to breach the opposing team’s base and destroy their nexus. Each nexus will also occasionally spawn weak, autonomous attackers called “minions” that travel along paths called “lanes” toward the enemy base. Between the lanes lies an area called the “jungle”, where neutral monsters reside that can be killed by both teams.

  • Cabal 2

Cabal 2 is an action-MMO with fluid, skill-based combat that offers the genuine MMO experience that made the genre so popular. It is the second of EST Games’ saga of story-based MMORPG worlds. It uses advanced CryEngine 3 technology for its cutting-edge MMO gameplay.

  • Diablo III

Diablo III is an action role-playing video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. In the game, players choose one of six character classes — Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor or Wizard (with the Crusader being unavailable unless the player has purchased the expansion pack, Diablo III: Reaper of Souls) — and are tasked with defeating the Lord of Terror, Diablo.

Diablo III picks up the story twenty years after the events of Diablo II. Mephisto, Diablo, and Baal have been defeated, but the Worldstone, which once shielded the inhabitants of the world of Sanctuary from the forces of both the High Heavens and the Burning Hells, has been destroyed, and evil once again stirs in Tristram. Playing as a hero from one of five distinct character classes, players acquire powerful items, spells, and abilities as they explore new and familiar areas of Sanctuary and battle hordes of demons to safeguard the world from the horrors that have arisen. Diablo III features a custom 3D-graphics engine to render lush indoor and outdoor areas of Sanctuary with a high level of detail and vivid special effects. The game’s physics-enhanced environments are interactive and destructible, offering traps and obstacles that create added danger for players and monsters alike. These elements, along with a new quest system and random scripted events, have been integrated into the game’s random-level generator, giving Diablo III the ultimate combination of dynamic gameplay and replayability. Cooperative and competitive play are available online through an upgraded version of Blizzard Entertainment’s renowned online gaming service, Battle.net.
